Aircraft Washing

Unroofed large combined wash down and rainfall catchment areas require a Trade Waste/Stormwater Diversion System.

Typical Rainfall IFD requires site specific calculation

Caters to Trade Waste, First Flush and Stormwater Flow rates in excess of 20.0 l/sec

Product Ref – Option 1

FF600/150+/150+/GTI/Custom- Refer drawing – 900mm x 600mm or 900mm x 900mm Pre Cast Concrete Pit with Class “B” or “D” Grated Cover, silt retention basket and >150mm Trade Waste and >150mm Stormwater outlets

This option provides for collection from Grated Trenches in the wash pad with wash water to be directed to Trade Waste, programmable volume of First Flush of rainwater (after any wash event) arriving on the paved catchment being directed to Trade Waste, with any further rainfall being directed to Stormwater

The system auto resets to Trade Waste discharge when the wash down tap is activated

Dirty Water collection tank to be sized according to the combined first flush and wash-water volume and the required time interval for disposal of the water content before wishing recommences

Refer below Ground Collection tank sizing drop down tab

Mechanical Oil/Water Separator with hourly treatment rate is selected relative to the disposal and first flush volume

Refer Oil/Water Separator drop down tab for selection of equipment package suited to this specific purpose

These projects require input and design assistance which is readily available from our engineering department

If aviation fuel spills are likely to occur on the paved catchment, additional measures will be required for the system sensors and control panel

Refer “Explosive Hazard” drop down tab for relevant information regards “Flammable”Liquid Applications applications
